About Children's Therapy Services
Birth To Three
CTS is a comprehensive Birth To Three provider and has had a contract with the Department of Developmental Services since the Department took over the administration of the program in 1996. Previously, CTS had a also provided therapy and educational services to families enrolled in the Birth to Three system when the program was under the administration of the Department of Education. CTS also contracts with Cheshire Public School’s Birth To Three program to provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.
Our Birth To Three Program services the following towns:Beacon Falls, Bethel, Brookfield, Cheshire, Danbury, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Newtown, Plymouth, Prospect, Southbury, Thomaston, Torrington, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott, and Woodbury.
Contract Services
Therapy Services are contracted to the following school districts:
Wolcott, Watertown, Cheshire, Middlebury, Southbury, Plymouth, and Thomaston.
CTS also contracts with pediatric home health agencies to provide therapy services for their clients.
Clinic
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy are provided to children at our office in Waterbury CT . Our office is open Monday-Friday 8am-6 pm. CTS accepts most insurance plans. Please contact the billing office at (203) 271-3288 with any insurance questions.
. Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy
CTS operates Lefty and righty of CT ( LARC) a three week constraint-induced movement therapy intensive program for children with hemiplegia. The program runs from June 21-July 9 2021 .
